One bald eagle and a gopher tortoise were among the 44 animals admitted to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic this past week. Other admissions included six northern mockingbirds, a great egret, a northern gannet, a Florida red-bellied turtle, a Florida softshell turtle, two raccoons and seven opossums.

Gassing of geese viewed by some as ghastly
